Terms of Use & License Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Alan Wasem (“we,” “us”) and governs your use of the worder application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to the App. Where this Agreement and Apple’s standard EULA conflict, the terms that are more protective of you as a user apply.
2. Beta software
The App is currently distributed as a pre-release beta through Apple TestFlight. It may contain bugs, may change or stop working, and is provided for testing and evaluation. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the App without obligation or compensation to you.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App except as allowed by law.
- Do not use the App to break any law or to interfere with its normal operation.
- Do not attempt to cheat, manipulate, or falsify leaderboards or scores.
4. Intellectual property
The App, its name, design, word content, and all related materials are owned by Alan Wasem and are protected by intellectual-property laws. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership to you.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will teach you grammar — though we hope it does.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which, during the beta, is nothing).
7. Apple as third-party beneficiary
You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you. Support and warranty obligations, if any, are ours alone, not Apple’s.
8. Termination
This license lasts until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the App and delete it.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always live at this URL with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
