Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

worder (“the app”) is a word game developed by Alan Wasem (“we,” “us”). We built worder to be fun and simple, and we keep your data the same way. This policy explains what the app collects and why. The short version: worder collects as little as possible, and we do not sell your data or use third-party advertising or analytics.

Information the app handles

What we do not do

How information is used

Any information the app handles is used only to run the game: to save your progress, show leaderboards you opt into, and keep your account working. We do not use it for marketing or profiling.

Data retention & deletion

Gameplay data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app. To remove Game Center data, manage it in your device’s Game Center settings. To request deletion of any account data associated with your Sign in with Apple identifier, email us at alan@alanwasem.com and we will delete it.

Children

worder is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the optional sign-in described above. It contains no ads and no in-app purchases.

Apple services

Because worder runs on Apple platforms and uses Sign in with Apple and Game Center, your use of those features is also governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
